Another Disadvantage
editAnother major disadvantage of this service is that once your ten message allowance is full all incoming phone calls are automatically diverted. The person being phoned is given no indication that they are being called, the telephone does not ring to indicate an incoming call. The person ringing is given the rather confusing recorded message "Sorry this mailbox is full. It can't accept anymore messages".
I had this service on my phone not because I wanted it but because the previous occupants of my address had requested it so that when I asked for a reconnection of the BT line, after I newly moved in, I had this service automatically and only found out when calls stop coming in and I received loads of irate emails. BT were helpful after I contacted them about the problem. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.154.110.191 (talk) 16:22, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
