Mehran County (Persian: شهرستان مهران) is in Ilam Province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Mehran.[3]

History
editAfter the 2006 National Census, Malekshahi District[a] was separated from the county in the establishment of Malekshahi County.[5]

editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the county's population was 55,271 in 10,960 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 27,506 people in 6,884 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 29,797 in 8,471 households.[2]
