Langley Kirkwood (born 14 April 1973) is a South African actor. He has appeared in films such as Invictus, Dredd, and Mia and the White Lion, as well as TV series, including Generation Kill in 2008 and the 2024 series White Lies. He is also a triathlete, and participated in the South African Ironman competition several times.

Early life and education

Langley Kirkwood was born in England on 14 April 1973. He moved to South Africa with his parents when he was young.[1]

He studied acting at school and went on to study drama at University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.[1]

Career

He has starred in many South African as well as international TV series, including Generation Kill (2008) and the 2024 series White Lies

Personal life

Kirkwood was married to South African model and photographer Josie Borain from 2002 until 2012, and had two[1] or three children together. In 2011 they were living in Hout Bay.[2]

Kirkwood enjoys trail running and cycling,[1] and has participated several times in the South African Ironman competition.[3][4]
