- 20 August 2022: Samar Banerjee, 92, a forward who captained India at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, where they achieved fourth place.[28][29]

- 20 November 2022: Babu Mani, 59, a forward who represented the National team at the 1984 AFC Asian Cup.[31]
