The World Figure Skating Championships is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union in which figure skaters compete for the title of World Champion.

editThis result was controversial because the three Norwegian member of the judging panel placed the Sonja Henie on the first place, while the other two placed Herma Szabo, who retired after the competition. [1][2]
