Angels are not supposed to have soulmates. It was impossible. Soulmates was a human thing and they were far from that. Yet one day Gabriel felt a slight pain and knew at once... from years of watching... that it meant he had a soulmate. Gabriel became accustomed to the pain since it kept coming. When he finally meets the man they go through a world of trouble. Finally deciding not to be together they break it off and God is furious.
