الأنشطة والجمعيات:Therefore, the demand for equipment that can safely and economically compress low pressure gas back into the production process is rapidly increasing. Ejectors are ideally suited to this application because they employ high-pressure gas energy to entrain and compress low pressure gas to a pressure where the gas can be recovered into production or used as fuel gas.

A quantitative assessment tool for process safety performance by implementing a proposed capability maturity framework
nternational Journal of Safety Science Vol. 03, No. 01, (2019), pp. 173-188
his paper stresses the need for a process safety capability maturity model (PSCMM) to prioritize improvement actions. It describes the process safety key performance indicators (KPIs) and structural components associated with them. Additionally, this study discusses an approach to evaluate the efficiency of process safety KPIs implementation method. his paper stresses the need for a process safety capability maturity model (PSCMM) to prioritize improvement actions. It describes the process safety key performance indicators (KPIs) and structural components associated with them. Additionally, this study discusses an approach to evaluate the efficiency of process safety KPIs implementation method. The most appropriate measurable dimensions for each implementation stage are recognized such as time, quality, scope, and staff. Similarly, all the dimensions of the most related aspects like detail and completeness were also identified. The study built quantitative performance assessment tool for the efficiency of the process safety KPIs implementation process using a set of categories for dimensions and aspects of each stage. The introduced model is planned for application on a wide range sample of developed process safety normally seen in oil and gas industries. The model was tested on data collected from the database of an oil and gas joint venture company that operates two offshore Egyptian fields located in the Suez gulf. The practical application of the proposed PSCMM worked very well. The results uncovered the hidden hazards and gave deep insights into the effectiveness of the implementation of the safety process KPIs.

A Tool to Identify the Proactive Corrective Actions after the Accidents in Oil and Gas Industry
International Journal of Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering (IJPPE) Volume 4, Issue 1, 2018, PP 32-44
The aim of this paper is to provide a less time-consuming and user friendly tool to find out the most cost-effective and practical corrective actions after the event by improving the data utilization from earlier studies to address the direct and root causes of the incidents. The paper collected frequent incidents contributors for the most common equipment types in oil and gas industry and the typical timing of the error in the lifecycle of the project, and then linked the most frequent…
The aim of this paper is to provide a less time-consuming and user friendly tool to find out the most cost-effective and practical corrective actions after the event by improving the data utilization from earlier studies to address the direct and root causes of the incidents. The paper collected frequent incidents contributors for the most common equipment types in oil and gas industry and the typical timing of the error in the lifecycle of the project, and then linked the most frequent accidents’ contributors with a direct and root causes. The proposed tool consists of three main steps: 1- Select the equipment type where was the event took place and identify the most frequent incident contributors of the equipment. 2- Identify the timing of incident errors as per the project lifecycle. 3- Drive out the direct and root causes of the event and prioritize/ implement the corrective action. The tool is demonstrated and tested using the piper alpha tragedy as a case study. The most distinguished feature of the tool is that it identifies incidents contributors and the timing errors as well as gives ideas on their removal. The tool established a framework to get the best use of the past accidents analysis, in order to obtain a proactive corrective action to prevent incidents recurrence. Additionally, it gives a road map for a better identification of corrective actions that directly address the root causes of the events.

Can Zero Flaring Be Achieved ?
2th Annual Gas Flaring Management Summit 2015,Fleming Gulf,Le Royal Meridien, Abu Dhabi, UAE, As a Panelist
gas flaring can be dealt with today through a variety of existing technologies at reasonable cost. Depending on the region, power generation, gas re-injection to enhance oil recovery, gathering and processing, pipeline development, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and a variety of distributed energy solutions can be deployed. However, often regional political complexities and lack of gas infrastructure systems drive the decision to flare gas.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the next phase of flare gas eradication will require a major, coordinated effort from central and regional governments, oil and gas producers, technology providers, and the international community. The role that each party plays differs by region.مؤلفون آخرونعرض المنشور -
Studying Techniques of Gas Emission Reduction
Journal of Petroleum and Mining Engineering 17(1)2015

Problems with Operational Pigging in Low Flow Oil Pipelines
WTG
Pipelines are normally designed for a specific maximum flowrate, this maximum rate is generally maintained on a “plateau” for several years of a field’s life, during which routine pigging operation presents little or no real problem to the pipeline operator. The cleaning pigs which are used are generally designed for the “maximum” of “potential flowrate” which the pipeline is due to see during it’s plateau phase of operation. This assumption, that these pigs will be suitable for the life of field operations, is common place with pipeline operators and as such there is a significant increase in the risk that pigs will become “stalled” on a regular basis or potentially “stuck” causing significant disruption to operation, production and in the worst case scenario a very costly subsea intervention. As can be seen from Industry Analysts1 there will be a decline in overall oil production not just from the UK Sector but from the North Sea Basin and Europe as a whole. Therefore the need to understand pigging operations in “low flow” modes of operation cannot be stressed highly enough.

Ejectors are ideally suited to this application because they employ high-pressure gas energy to entrain and compress low pressure gas to a pressure where the gas can be recovered into production or used as fuel gas.
The purpose of the research is to:
a) Reduce the wastage of precious natural resources.
b) Reduce the impact on the environment and safety of the locality / surrounding areas.
c) Achieve zero hydrocarbon emissions.
d) Reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG)’s into the atmosphere.
e) Reducing consumption of natural gas by using recovered gas as fuel.
Finally the research activity has therefore reduced the release of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and has positively contributed to the fuel requirement of the country by providing additional source of fuel (gas). The research has promoted sustainable economic growth and enabled conservation of environment and natural resources, and the revenue generated from low pressure gas will also increase the economic sustainability, so this will encourage others to take similar environmentally friendly researches in the industry.
