Help Define Egypt’s Future Every Day

نبذة عنا

Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) is an Egyptian Container Terminal facility that was established in 2004 as a joint venture, with APM Terminals owning the majority shareholder and running of the terminal operations. Over the course of 20 years of worldclass operational standards, SCCT has successfully and professionally handled 21,000 vessel calls, generating a total throughput of almost 30 million TEUs. This volume accounts for 50% of total container traffic in Egypt. Strategically and uniquely located at the mouth of the Suez Canal, SCCT prudently provides our Shipping Line Customers ZERO deviation from one of the busiest shipping corridors in the world, granting unique access to key Mediterranean markets and Egypt. Present infrastructure, 17 meter deep water, equipment fleet capabilities, strong productivity levels and our skilled people have enabled SCCT to efficiently accommodate and handle the largest containerships in the global fleet with annual capacity of 5 million TEUs. SCCT is collaborating with the Government of Egypt to invest in the future through expansion of our present capacity by almost 30% during the course of 2025”
