The Kliimaministeerium / Ministry of Climate of Estonia has developed a Construction Guide that offers a simple and visual overview of construction requirements for various buildings and activities. 🏗️ This guide makes it easier for businesses, municipalities, and all interested parties to find, understand, and comply with the necessary requirements and guidelines. 🏡 The website initially covers four categories: residential buildings, non-residential buildings, structures, and technical systems. Creating the Construction Guide is part of a broader initiative to improve the living environment and digitalize the construction sector, led by the Ministry of Climate. Yesterday’s third inspiration evening for the construction e-jump community was both lively and informative. 💡 At the event, Civitta Eesti AS presented their study on the digitalization of the construction sector. Additionally, companies that received support in the second round of the construction e-jump program gave brief presentations: 📌 Build.works technologies OÜ: “Development of a BIM-based procurement module.” 📌 3D Technologies R&D: “Web-based interactive BIM models.” 📌 Arro & Agasild Inseneribüroo OÜ: “Creation of a tool for drafting construction project reports.” 📌 Wenture OÜ: “Development of the Wenture Configurator’s PIM module into a SaaS product.” The event was organized by: Kliimaministeerium / Ministry of Climate of Estonia and the Estonian Digital Construction Cluster. 🏗️ #digitalconstruction #collaboration #inspiration #networking

Join us for an information day on the design and construction procurement of the Tartu Defense House, taking place on June 18th at 1:00 PM at the Estonian National Museum. The Tartu Defense House, being built in Raadi, is intended for units operating under the Ministry of Defense, primarily the Defense Forces, the Defense Resources Agency, and RKIK. For the first time in the defense sector, we are utilizing the alliance contracting model for the design and construction procurement. This innovative approach means that the client does not dictate the only possible solutions and obligations to the bidders. All parties, including the architect, designer, and builder, are involved from the early stages of the procurement process, ensuring the final solution is a collaborative effort. #DigitalConstruction #AllianceContracting #IPT #Procurement

On June 19th at 6:00 PM, the III Inspiration Evening of the Construction e-Leap Community will take place at the Vatican Event Center. 👷🏻♂️🏗️ The event will briefly introduce projects that received support in the second round of the Construction e-Leap initiative. Additionally, Civitta Estonia AS will present the results of their construction sector digitalization survey. The evening will conclude with an introduction to the upcoming AEC Hackathon Tallinn 2024 by the Estonian Digital Construction Cluster. Participants will be offered a selection of food and beverages (coffee/tea). ETS Nord develops and manufactures ventilation equipment that ensures a clean and healthy indoor climate and makes people feel better indoors. ⚫️ Why join the Estonian Digital Construction Cluster? As a manufacturer, coming into contact with developers, designers and installers on a daily basis, we can see that there are areas in the exchange of information between these parties that could be made more accurate and faster. At ETS NORD, we are doing our utmost to digitise the exchange of information so that it is more manageable for all parties and ensures smoother cooperation. We see the involvement of the HVAC manufacturer in the Estonian Digital Construction Cluster and our input from the industry as a contribution to the development of knowledge-based construction. ⚪️ What does ETS NORD want to do for the construction sector in the future? The highlight of the event is the awards gala, where the Estonian Digital Construction Cluster will present two prestigious awards: 🏆 Innovation Project of the Year. In 2023, the award was won by Nordecon AS for: "Construction Progress Assessment with the Help of Artificial Intelligence". 🏆 Future Leader in Digital Construction.
