Civitta’s racetrack and flower city at The Spot Startup Party! ☀️ The Spot, the biggest coworking space in Slovakia, organised the 2024 edition of their signature event, The Summer Startup Party. Among almost 300 members of the local startup ecosystem, we forged connections with investors, startups, innovators, tech leaders, and social entrepreneurs. 🌸 We partnered with The Spot and as the Slovak hub for EIT Urban Mobility, we built an urban mobility zone that bloomed with an interactive commute challenge that mirrored the party's flower child theme. Attendees voted for their daily commute with a playful floral pin system. 🌿 The results surprised us! Over 70% of participants choose eco-friendly commutes daily, like public transport (47%), walking (16%), and bikes/scooters (12%). This activity sparked important conversations about environmental impact of daily commutes and inspired attendees to consider greener means of transportation. 🚗 The real showstopper? Our racetrack and flower city. It wasn't just about the thrill of the race (because who doesn't love a friendly competition?), it became an ice breaker for discussions on Civitta’s projects. This, along with our other engaging activities, transformed our zone into a vibrant hub, leaving partygoers with fresh perspectives and great memories. 🖤 The party wasn't just about networking; it was a team-building win for Civitta Slovakia!  This project is supported by EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology, a body of the European Union.
