Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit]
Ping raises one monster"s wisdom by 80% and lasts for 4~7 turns. It overrides the natural stat caps of monsters, allowing the fourth-tier attack spells to reach their maximum damage that necessitates 3,999 wisdom. Ping is learned through the Antimagician, Empath, Fortifier, Sizz Afficionado, and Willing Helper talents.
Dragon Quest Treasures[edit]
The effects of the spell can be replicated by popping an ally with a ping pellet.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Ping appears as an enemy-only spell that can be used by certain monsters and bosses. It has a range of up to two squares away from the caster in any direction, can be self-cast, and greatly increases the WIS of a single target. Silvapithecus and Slimecicle also possess the awakening perk Rare Ping, which has a chance to greatly increase their WIS for 4 turns at the start of each turn.
