The metal king jacket is the finest protection for adventurers who want the sleek, stylish look of the eponymous metal slimes but don't want to be weighed down by the more popular armour. A bonus of forgoing metal plates is that the wearer gets to be just as hard to hit as the metal king slime itself.

The jacket is available for purchase after Dirk is recruited to help rebuild Cobblestone during the third act of the game. A free jacket is available in The Cryptic Crypt in a treasure chest that requires the ultimate key to access.
