Dev Snapshot: Cloud Test
Testing out some more dynamic clouds for Gravity Garden. I liked the shapes of the first batch, but they were too stiff. These new ones are created using Unity's particle system - with mesh objects instead of 2D particle textures. These are much more lively and with a few more adjustments I think they'll be looking pretty good. You'll be able to harvest water from these clouds in the next alpha release.
New screenshots featuring some slightly boosted color and contrast, too. I spent a couple of days this week experimenting with shaders and image effects. Looking for options that could add something fun without eating up too much processing power. Came up with a fun way for players to make subtle, or not so subtle, adjustments to the colors of their little universe.
