18 and counting Earlier today, I just finished hosting Allente’s 18th “Ask Anything” session.  This session is incorporated in our bi-monthly Nordic Townhalls at Allente Nordic where employees across our offices in the Nordics can ask me and my Executive Team any questions which are at the top of their minds.   We started this “Ask Anything” concept when Allente was established 4 years ago during the pandemic. As you can imagine, sessions like this were crucial. When two companies, such as Viasat Consumer and Canal Digital, merged, understandably there were matters to smoothen over.  Our transparent and open “Ask Anything” sessions allowed employees across the entire organization to get clarity and alignment over many topics ranging from people and culture to our products and branding. Since conception, Allente has always taken on the Challenger role with ambitions to be the leading Nordic TV and streaming provider. This entails being on a change journey together, achieving operational excellence and performing while transforming.   With transformation comes updated strategies and operating models throughout our journey. This also includes difficult decisions to be made at times. However, with sessions such as “Ask Anything”, you ensure that decisions are made in a well-thought manner and full transparency. With today’s ever-changing external landscape, all companies, in my opinion, should have this open, two-way conversation with their entire organization on a consistent basis. It's an opportunity as a leader to: § Have a pulse of the firm in real-time, in addition to digital employee feedback surveys § Provide clarity on topics which need termination, confirmation or further explanation § Connect and have trustful 2-way dialogues with your brand ambassadors 18 and counting, we will continue to use the “Ask anything” to bring clarity and transparency to the organization!
