When it comes to David “Lukito” Schmidt, it’s all about the beats. This formally trained drummer from Germany has been making waves on the rising German beat-making scene for many years. With a strong hip-hop background, this left-handed film buff has pushed the genre's boundaries and deep-dived into all sorts of electronic music.⁠ Lukito's journey includes DJ sets, beat-making showcases, and producing audio delights in his Cologne studio. Over the years, he has composed over 10 albums for our sister company StereoRoyal, resulting in placements with brands such as Netflix, Ikea, H&M, Volvo, and Aston Martin.⁠ ⁠ His track 'Feel The Life' is currently soundtracking promos for UEFA EURO 2024 on television in Denmark. ⁠ ⁠ 🎧 Listen to Lukito's highlighted playlist, including his best tracks here: https://lnkd.in/dU4sG9yb

Today it's been one week since Danish feature film "Birthday Girl" premiered. Meet Kaae & Batz, an eclectic composer duo from Copenhagen that has made waves on the Danish scene for years. With the release of their critically acclaimed albums “Mosaic” (2019) and “L.U.S.H” (2021) they presented a unique and evocative mixture of electronic and acoustic sounds with a distinct Nordic touch. Kaspar Kaae, the lead singer of Danish folk band CODY and Brian Batz, mastermind behind the widely successful Sleep Party People project, not only release music together but also lend their talents as songwriters, producers, and recording engineers to many other Nordic artists. When not pushing boundaries with one of their many artist projects, you can find Kaae & Batz in their studio creating outstanding feature film and TV scores.
