This recognition highlights our team’s hard work in creating innovative planning and learning tools for neurodivergent folks everywhere. 🌻 Attending last year’s Diversity Nordics Summit really showed us the power of community in driving meaningful change and made us even more committed to involving our users in every step of the design process. We’re honored and grateful to be recognized alongside such amazing and dedicated individuals and organizations, all working towards a more inclusive future in the Nordics and beyond. We’re still pinching ourselves about being nominated for this year’s #AppleDesignAwards! The simple fact that Tiimo was picked out of millions of apps to be recognized for our work on inclusivity is more than recognition. It’s a signal to the global neurodivergent community that they matter, that developing technology to support diverse modes of thinking and perceiving should be the norm, not the exception. At Tiimo our mission has always been to shine a light on the power of neurodiversity and the positive impact of people who think and perceive differently - at work, at home, and in our communities. Earlier this week, Helene, our co-founder & co-CEO was invited to debate the future of inclusion at a panel discussion. We were sitting with prominent companies such as Google, Danske Bank and IT-Branchen, and were thrilled to see this subject getting attention 💚 However we're nowhere there, yet. But we are growing, learning and debating. Below are some of the key takeaways from the discussion: • Openness and transparency are foundational. Candid conversations about neurodivergent needs and challenges are essential for fostering an inclusive environment. • The responsibility for fostering inclusivity is not unilateral, and doesn't rest solely on the neurodivergent workforce. Creating an inclusive culture is a collective effort that requires participation from all stakeholders. • Employers play a pivotal role in driving inclusivity. It's imperative for organizations to be informed and educated about neurodiversity, enabling them to identify and accommodate diverse talents effectively. As we navigate this journey, we're committed to amplifying these conversations and driving meaningful change. Stay tuned as we continue to explore and advocate for inclusion in the days ahead 🌻
