Last week, we had the amazing opportunity to participate in TechBBQ 2024! Our team was proud to be represented by Helene (Co-founder and Co-CEO) and Beaux (Inclusion and Belonging Lead), who both contributed to important conversations shaping the future of tech, inclusion, and innovation. 🌻 Beaux, took the stage as a moderator and ambassador for #TechBBQueer, a great initiative to create safe space where queer founders, talents, and allies come together to share experiences in a field that’s still predominantly cis-male. Big shoutout to identity.vc I Backing LGBTQ Entrepreneurs for sponsoring the event. Topics included overcoming challenges, finding value-aligned investors, and leveraging identity as a strength. 💚 Helene joined Jennifer Montague, Kyle Rowley and Stephanie Melodia on a panel exploring how aligning product, sales, and marketing can drive long-term success in tech. One of the big takeaway was that product should drive the overall strategy for long terms succes. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our perspective on why neuroinclusion and mental health are key to building resilient, innovative companies. We want to continue engaging with such inspiring voices and to continue advocating for a more inclusive and supportive tech community. A big thank you to the TechBBQ team for another fantastic event!

Happy iOS 18 release day! We were thrilled to find Tiimo featured on the U.S. App Store front page as one of the best apps for this update 💚 A big thank you to Apple for once again highlighting neuroinclusive apps and accessible design, and for giving us a space to build features that make a real difference in the lives of millions. With our new iOS 18 update, getting things done and staying organized has never been easier: • Reduced barriers to action: Users can now create tasks, start timers, and add reminders with just a tap, right from the Control Center, Spotlight, or shortcuts – helping them stay on track and avoid distractions. • Contextual reminders appear exactly when they’re needed, boosting focus and productivity. • Greater visibility for plans keeps them top of mind, providing essential reminders for those who thrive with that extra nudge. "For many people with ADHD, there’s often input from too many things at the same time, making it harder to prioritise what to pay attention to. Focusing on things that are not directly in front of you can be hard, which is why keeping objects and information visible is crucial. Tiimo’s Home and Lock Screen widgets can be useful for those with ADHD as they display important reminders outside of the app. Try the daily schedule widget (for example, showing the different meetings or classes you have planned), the to-do “brain dump” list or the focus timer." Thank you App Store and Apple for this highlight and for supporting us in creating a world of equal opportunities for all neurotypes! 🌻 https://lnkd.in/dbnkhpcp

Last week, I had the delight of hosting a webinar on self-care for neurodivergent individuals in collaboration with Tiimo! 🪄 We delved into topics like nervous system regulation, setting boundaries, and embracing interoception as vital aspects of self-care for neurodivergent people. My ✨highlight✨ of the webinar was the wonderful community of attendees who joined us. Their enthusiasm and openness reaffirmed just how powerful it is to create spaces of co-learning and sharing together. It also highlighted of how important it is, for us neurodivergent folks, to really understand our minds and bodies, in order to take meaningful, restorative care of ourselves. True self-care for neurodivergent folks is about conserving our energy and nurturing our bodies in a world that often isn’t designed with us in mind. Self-care is protecting our energy after being overstimulated after a busy day at work, understanding and working with (not against!) our nervous system to reassure our bodies that we are safe. 🫁 Self-care is about belonging, both within ourselves and also in a community. Being amongst a group of others like ourselves, especially if we are masking our disability in our everyday life. 🫂 A heartfelt thank you to Beaux, Inclusion and Belong Lead at Tiimo, for creating such a warm space for everyone (including myself) to share. And of course, big thank you to Tiimo and the wonderful participants for coming along and sharing your words of wisdom in the chat! Your insights and openness are what make these spaces even more meaningful. 🧡 #neurodivergent #tiimo #selfcare #selfcareforneurodivergentpeople
