Det er sådan jeg har det indeni efter at have været en del af teamet i måneden der er gået. Vores fire workshops med elever fra skoler i Odense har bekræftet min indledende opfattelse af at Tinyfarmen er et fantastisk læringsværktøj. I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined the board of directors of Tinyfarms alongside David Johan Christensen and Esben Stærk. Tinyfarms is a hardware and software learning platform where students explore plant growth and life cycles in a digital greenhouse. They provide hands-on learning experiences that help students understand biology, ecology, and sustainability from seed sprouting to full bloom. The cofounder, Samy, and I have known each other since our days at the French School in Copenhagen, where I was a couple of years ahead of him. I’ve closely followed his inspiring journey ever since. Then seven months ago, we had our very first Hello Ada event with Tinyfarms. Hello Ada, my passion project, is dedicated to teaching parents and girls about new technologies. This collaboration makes my new role even more special. Today I’m excited to support Tinyfarms in inspiring the next generation of scientists and environmentalists. #Tinyfarms #STEM #EdTech

A very warm welcome to Nermeen Louizi Ghoniem to the Tinyfarms board of directors! Nermeen has been following and collaborating with us from a very early stage, and given us invaluable along the way. As a founder of Hello Ada, she dedicates her time to teach girls and their parents about new technologies, namely AI. We’re very certain that with her help we’ll be able to reach even more aspiring young climate scientists and engineers!

Today is a big day in the early chapters of our Tiny history book, as we can now announce that Christian Wraa-Puls has just joined us full-time as a Chief Commercial Officer! Christian is exactly the kind of person we’ve been looking for since the beginning of our journey: a former schoolteacher himself, he knows exactly which challenges our customers and users face every day. Combined with this, he has over a decade of commercial and sales experience enabling him to get the best, most relevant EdTech products spread far and wide. Tinyfarms is proud to have been chosen to exhibit alongside the Lego Spike from LEGO Education and the Fable robot from Shape Robotics at Rødovre Centrum’s “Our children, our future” expo for the next 6 weeks. In the coming school year we’re hoping to forge strong, long lasting partnerships with the Rødovre municipality and its schoolteachers. Big thanks to TekX and Jesper Drachmann for the opportunity to showcase our product, if you’re in the area in the coming weeks feel free to come and take control of the Tinyfarm to set the best (or worst) growing conditions for the basil seeds inside 🧪

A very very warm welcome to Esben Stærk who has agreed to join our board of directors in Tinyfarms! Esben brings some incredible expertise to our boardroom, including over 20 years of experience scaling educational products internationally, previously serving as the President of LEGO Education. We have a winner! Philip participated in the Big Bang Conference giveaway and is taking a Tinyfarm with him to Rynkevangskolen. We hope he and his students learn a lot experimenting with it and enjoy seeing their plants grow 🌱

TinyFarms er fantastiske at arbejde med! 😁 Vi er så heldige at have hele seks på Østbirk Skole, så der er rig mulighed for at eksperimentere og lege. Jeg afholdt kursus for biologi- og N/T kolleger sammen med vores 2.års lærerstuderende. Det er fedt at opleve, hvordan der er latter, gensidig anerkendelse og læring på tværs af erfaring, når det rette "legetøj" er der. Kreativiteten var i top, så det bliver spændende over de næste uger at følge alger, andemad, basilikum, ærter og karse - hvis ellers programmeringen er udført korrekt! 😁
