What if the world was just black and white? In reality, nothing rarely is, but just for one evening, we indulged in the fantasy of monochrome mystique. Lights dimmed, spirits high. Dressed up in our finest kit from the roaring ‘20s and shadowy ‘40s. Though a depiction of the old, we met each other anew. And what a blast! Call of Duty: It’s Uniform at Work Day in Denmark 🎖️ Today, several colleagues swapped their usual office gear for something a little more striking: their reservist and volunteer uniforms. As part of Denmark’s "Uniform at Work Day," they came to work representing their roles as military reservists and volunteers in the Home Guard, Emergency Management Agency, and Coastal Rescue Service. This reminds all of us that they’re not just contributing to exceptional software at Systematic - they choose to support our national security in their spare time. 🔑 How can you unlock great experiences for developers? Our colleague Thomas Vitale Software Engineer and Architect, has the key for you! In his presentation at KCD Munich, a vibrant platform for cloud-native tech enthusiasts, he pointed out, together with Mauricio Salatino, what it takes for "Unlocking New Platform Experiences With Open Interfaces". Thomas analyzed existing CNCF projects and looked into how you can implement an end-to-end experience and support teams from idea to production, using a “function-as-a-service” example. 🎙 Reflecting on the session, he said “We got much positive feedback about our session and a very engaged audience. We continued the conversation during the rest of the event, discussing developer experience on Kubernetes and how the CNCF can support that via the new Application Development Working Group for which I’m co-chair.”. We strive to strengthen the tech community by facilitating workshops and networking opportunities 💡 That is why we recently hosted AarhusJS a local Aarhus-based group, for an inspiring evening about using Storybook to enhance UI components 👨💻 During the event, Systematics’ Senior System Engineer Anders Holm discussed his UX and UI design work in mission-critical healthcare and military domains. Anders also shared his passion for continuous development and understanding customers’ needs on user-friendly frontends. Additionally, Jørgen Skogmo, Co-Founder of DearStudio, presented his 20 years of experience with creative coding and emphasized the importance of significant data in well-thought-out digital design.
