🔄 Berry Superfos is introducing new initiatives aimed at ensuring that all our packaging products are 100% reusable, recyclable, or compostable by 2025. ✨ 🌠 The strategic vision is clear, according to Jamie Riley, sustainability manager at Berry Superfos: “To support our customers in achieving their sustainability goals and continue to propel our own sustainability journey, our goal is to eliminate non-recyclable products from our portfolio by 2025.” An example of a step in this direction is to replace metal handles on our plastic containers with robust plastic alternatives by October 2024. This will ensure mono-material solutions that enhance the recyclability potential compared to multi-material packaging. By implementing this initiative and more, we are supporting our customers in meeting increased regulatory requirements for packaging recyclability including the upcoming Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (PPWR). ♻️ #CircularEconomy #Recyclability #PackagingInnovation #PPWR
