How can Denmark inspire Singapore to forge new climate partnerships? Today, we had the pleasure of hosting the Ambassador for Climate Action, Mr. Ravi Menon, and Deputy Secretary of the Prime Minister`s Office Ms. Amelia Tang, from the National Climate Change Secretariat, Singapore, and the rest of a delegation trip exploring Denmark's public and private sector engagement in climate action plans. The visit led to many good talks on how Singapore can learn from Denmark, and vice versa, in implementing and sustaining strong public-private partnerships to accelerate green transition. The session at House of Green included presentations from Finn M., Director at State of Green, and Anne Højer Simonsen, Head of Climate Policy at Danish Industry, who shared knowledge and learnings from Denmark’s journey towards net zero. The delegation then continued their trip by meeting with other key actors from both the public and private sectors in Denmark, such as Forsikring & Pension, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, Klimarådet, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Danish Shipping, Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs and Dansk Erhverv. Thank you for visiting! Denmark’s green transition builds on a long tradition of partnerships and dialogue between the public and private sectors. In 2019, the Danish government established 14 climate partnerships to develop recommendations for achieving one of the world’s most ambitious climate goals.
