We’re beyond stoked to announce that 6 incredible women from our city of Aarhus were among the 25 who just got a massive high-five for their amazing work. ↓↓↓ ► Ida Cecilie Jensen is the Founder of AgroAnt which offers a sustainable alternative to chemical pesticides for organic farmers by using ants. ► Ida Grønborg is the Co-Founder of Cacto Health, which is a home-monitoring solution for lymphedema to improve life quality of former breast cancer patients. ► Marcela A. Mendoza Suárez Suárez is Co-Founder of SymbioMatch who works to improve crop yields for farmers by matching plants, soil and bacteria. ► Emilie Vindahl Berggren, Julie Strand & Sarah Strand are Co-Founders of AROS Influence which is an influencer agency with focus on TikTok. While some of us have been soaking up the sun on vacation, some awesome Aarhus startups have been hard at work making big moves. Here’s a quick recap of everything that happened in the Aarhus startup scene during the summer!! ROUNDS CLOSED ⌫ Vokalo secured an undisclosed pre-seed round in July. Draupnir Bio raised EUR 12 million in seed funding. Unioo secured EUR 800,000 in July. Lunar raised around EUR 4.96 million. Landfolk closed a EUR 10.3 million Series A round.
