Our quarterly report for the second quarter and first half of 2024 was published today. The results will be presented in a live audio webcast at 11:00 CET. See https://lnkd.in/gVPFEih for details. Q2 revenue and EBITDA are in line with expectations. We reconfirm our EBITDA guidance of DKK 600m for 2024. CEO Jens Andersen says: “Recovery is now taking root in Denmark. In Q2, Solar Danmark’s growth almost edged into positive territory, and we are now seeing signs of recovery. We are confident this positive development will continue for the remainder of the year and in our other markets. We continue to initiate measures to mitigate the impact of cost inflation and market slowdown. Consequently, we reconfirm our EBITDA guidance of DKK 600m for 2024.”

A well-managed inventory can save time and money! 💰 Hedmans El in Uppsala, Sweden has implemented an automated vendor managed inventory (VMI) system from Solar. Such a VMI solution can lead to up to 40% lower costs on orders, up to 30% fewer deliveries and up to 25% lower capital tied up in inventory. - We had a lot of stuff on the shelves, but perhaps didn't always have a solid grasp of what we had. It also usually leads to the fact that in the end you don't get paid for all the material you buy in, says Richard Hedman, founder of Hedmans El. The system is automated and on clearly marked shelves, Hedmans El now has around 200 different articles. An installer who needs to pick up material only needs to scan a barcode and indicate which customer should have the item in question. The item is immediately added to the customer's invoice, and the system notes the reduced stock level. The system then detects when it is time to fill the shelves again, and then an order automatically goes to Solar. Refills are delivered twice a week via Solar's night delivery. - This has led to us being able to use our time more efficiently. If we are unsure if something is in stock, we can always log into the phone and see the levels in real time. This means that we can spend less time on purchases and instead more time with the customers where we make a difference. That's wonderful! concludes Richard Hedman.
