✨Exciting day in Enschede! The Ministers Liesbeth Grijsen and Erwin Hoogland from the Provincie Overijssel visited the De Groot Vroomshoop factory in Enschede. Wilma van Ingen, director of the housing association Woningcorporatie Domijn praised INDU-ZERO project leader Ulla-Britt Krämer for her determination in the project and highlighted the project as the foundation for the 'Bundle @ de Performance Factory' circular apartment complex for starters in Enschede that has just been finished. Wim Sturris, director of De Groot Vroomshoop, emphasized the value of international projects like INDU-ZERO in creating new business opportunities, calling the INDU-ZERO project a success! 💪 The delegation later toured the finished living complex, a marvel in community building and circularity! ♻️ Interreg North Sea Programme

The Interreg Baltic Sea Region has opened a call for project platforms where EU funded project outcomes are consolidated to boost capitalisation. This call could be interesting for Interreg North Sea projects too. Project partners are recommended to come from the Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme area. The Baltic Sea Region programme area overlaps with the Interreg North Sea programme area in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and part of Germany. Supported by the Interreg North Sea Programme, eleven partners from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany will work together to help municipalities and regional authorities to become climate-proof from within. Local governments save money, time and resources with the Green Team methodology. 🌟 REGIOSTARS 🌟 This year 5 (!) exceptional North Sea projects compete in the prestigious regiostars contest. 📣Today we introduce the fifth and last project: TOPSOIL. Climate change causes visible damage, such as storms and floods. However, it also affects the underground, impacting our drinking water and agricultural land. TOPSOIL studied the impact underground and found solutions for soil and groundwater management. Hello from lovely Bergen, where we are attending the North Sea Commission's Annual Business Meeting. This time, one of the topics in focus is Interreg after 2027, with a speech by our Head of Secretariat Christian Byrith. We have also been able to conduct focus group consultations about the future of European cooperation 🤝 A very warm thank you to the Commission's working groups and Youth Council for providing really valuable inputs to our consultation!
