🌍 Closing the Gap: Navigating the Skills Challenge in Renewable Energy 🌍 In the race to net zero, the renewables sector is rapidly evolving, offering exciting career opportunities for those looking to join. Predictions indicate the global renewables industry will need an additional 1.1 million blue-collar workers to develop and construct wind and solar plants, and another 1.7 million workers to operate and maintain them by 2030. However, this growing industry faces a significant skills gap. The renewables sector, while not entirely new, is younger than its oil and gas counterparts, leading to a shortage of candidates with extensive experience in renewable energy. To address this, the industry must leverage transferable skills from other sectors. 🪐 Read more! ⬇️ #RenewableEnergy

Exciting Update on Taiwan's Offshore Wind Development! 🌊 We are thrilled to share that the results of Taiwan's Round 3-2 auction have been announced! This round marks a significant milestone, as the "obvious" site areas are now mostly occupied. Looking ahead, we anticipate new projects to explore areas to the north, such as Hsinchu and Miaoli, and to the south, including Penghu. This expansion may require the innovative use of floating foundations to harness wind energy efficiently in these new regions. Thanks James Chian-Heng Lee for sharing your insights. #RenewableEnergy #OffshoreWind
