As a startup grows, so does the need for leadership. Being a good leader and balancing being professional and personal is challenging. Jeanette has written a piece about this challenge — transitioning from leading a small team to a larger one. She has also talked to some of our founders about their experiences transitioning from founder to leader. "When we started Tiimo, we didn't know much about leadership but knew it was vital. From the beginning, we've led by being true to ourselves, naturally inspiring our team toward common goals because, as in our DNA, we believe that everyone is different." - Helene, Co-founder and co-ceo of Tiimo The article also includes experiences from Michael, Co-founder and CEO of Onomondo, and Christian, Co-founder and CEO of Zoios. … And hey, now you're here. If you don't have a ticket for tonight's TalkBBQ event around this topic, you can still make it. It’s today, Tuesday May 14th, from 16.30 - 20.00 at Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship ✨ Get your ticket here: https://lnkd.in/eV4MnvkB

In 2021, Christian and Mikkel started their company, Zoios. A company on a mission to improve the lives of 1.000.000 people through better culture and leadership. They have built a tool that helps leaders balance well-being and performance while giving company-wide insights for organizational development, people, and culture. Today, they’re featured in Finans, Tech.eu and TechSavvy Media, announcing their seed round. Christian, General Partner at People Ventures, says: “We’ve been fans of the team and their mission since we first met them in the summer of 2021. We still see great potential for Zoios as a platform to make leadership more data-driven and assist leaders in managing their teams. The fact that they are already close to becoming a profitable business while growing by triple digits yearly only further strengthens the case.” Huge congratulations to Mikkel, Christian and the rest of the Zoios team 🫶

"It's like The Oscars but for apps" Each year, Apple recognizes the best and most innovative apps from millions of apps featured in the App Store with an award ceremony. This year, Tiimo is nominated in the 'inclusivity' category. Melissa, Co-founder of Tiimo, says: "Dreams do come true. It has been a tradition at Tiimo to watch the Apple Design Award together for many years. We always dreamt of being one of the selected apps, joked about it, but at the same time had a very clear vision of making technology accessible to everyone regardless of physical or cognitive abilities. Out of the millions of apps in the App Store, Apple has selected us as a finalist in the inclusivity category. It's the Oscars for designers and developers". Tiimo, we're happy to be part of your mission to make the world more neuro-inclusive. We'll keep our fingers crossed all day on June 10th. You got this! 🫶 Link to blogpost: https://lnkd.in/dgrQQR_T

Son of a Tailor opening their first store 🧡 Since day one, Son of a Tailor has been working on one thing: providing the perfect fit. And while having an algorithm that helps with exactly that, they only use high-quality materials that last. Always. Since 2014, they’ve made custom-fit clothing for more than 150,000 customers, sold all online. But last week, a new era began when they opened the doors to their first store, located where it all began: in the heart of Copenhagen ✨ They are rethinking the shopping experience to be smoother than ever while limiting the need for stock. When entering the store, the first thing you’ll see is The SON Mirror. Combining AI and image recognition technology, it measures your body in an instant, allowing you to try on different colours without changing garments even once. Seriously, how cool is that? Try it yourself at Pilestræde 28. This one is for you, team Son of a Tailor: 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
