Let's learn a little bit more about Claudia! 🍬 📌 What celebrity would you like to be BFF’s with? Dead: Anthony Bourdain. Alive: Emma Chamberlain or Claire Saffitz 📌 How do you relax? A workout or a run always helps! 📌 What’s your first memory involving a computer? My dad used to bring his brick laptop home at weekends. I would play Solitaire, minesweeper — although it was only a few years ago that I actually learned how to play it, and a loooot of DX-Ball (the brick breaker game). 📌 What do you like most about working with our product? I love how much it can do and how diverse it is! I love the thought and energy behind developing Famly — not just the application itself but the environment that it cultivates both in the office and in the early childhood space/community. 📌 What’s your favourite place in the office? The centre of the party…and where all the snacks are, the kitchen! 📌 How does Famly support your professional development? As an engineer, you have the freedom and flexibility to pursue your ideas, which allows you to stay curious, keep discovering and sometimes fail and learn from your mistakes. To complement this, kind feedback is encouraged and has helped me identify areas where there is room for improvement. 📌 Does tech have any limitations? The sky’s the limit…NOT! I believe any limitations in tech are only temporary as we keep evolving and innovating. Not to mention our needs keep changing, which has a great impact on technology and its course. Let's learn a little bit more about Famly's best foosball player ⚽️ 📌 What celebrity would you like to be BFF’s with? - Kristin Wiig. Her nutty SNL sketches make me think she must be a blast to be around. 📌 How do you relax? - By competing. It makes me focus in a way that forces my mind off whatever might be bugging me. 📌 What’s your first memory involving a computer? - Playing SinkSub on my granddad’s Windows 3.1 computer - a super old game where you had to bomb submarines that were floating underneath your warship. 📌 What do you like most about working with our product? - How multi-faceted the challenges are. On the surface, the product looks deceptively simple, but there are many lovely rabbit holes that one can tumble down. 📌 What’s your favourite place in the office? - The nearest coffee machine! 📌 How does Famly support your professional development? - By being very open to different career paths. Developers becoming full stack, switching to EMs or PMs or continuing developing their expertise as individual contributors - it’s pretty open. 📌 Does tech have any limitations? - Yes, but I’m not gonna tell you. According to Wikipedia, “a hackathon, also known as a codefest 🎉 , is a social coding event where computer programmers and others come together to engage in rapid and collaborative engineering over a relatively short period.” At Famly, we put our twist on the hackathon last week, calling it “Customer Appreciation Week” 💜 The goal? To ensure we’re constantly enhancing our customer’s experience. For an entire week, we focused our efforts on those seemingly minor details that, when polished, really improve the experience of our customers, making navigating Famly smooth sailing 🏄♀️ Oftentimes, long-term projects and new features dominate our team’s workload, leaving little room for quicker, smaller-scale tasks. So, we decided to hit pause on everything else, dedicating ourselves to small yet impactful enhancements that make interactions with Famly smoother and more enjoyable ✨

My Garmin says I recover a lot of body energy doing that. 📌 What’s your first memory involving a computer? - A Family game station. I remember playing “Duck hunt” while drinking hot chocolate in winter 📌 What do you like most about working with our product? - I like how it helps practitioners to record important data about children easily 📌 What’s your favourite place in the office? - The pink couch. It is so soft! 📌 How does Famly support your professional development? - I have had excellent engineering managers that hand-held my development, following only my needs and potential. 📌 Does tech have any limitations? - Yes of course, like humans have.
