EUROTOX Congress

While our #EUROTOX2024 reviewers have their hands full at the moment evaluating the more than 800 abstracts submitted, we have already taken a look into the future - #EUROTOX2027 still seems a long way off, but in #Gothenburg the Local Organising Committee is already full of anticipation and ideas. This much we can already reveal: it will be a congress of almost unlimited (space) possibilities in a very versatile city. A big thank you to Jan Olsson and the Swedish Society of Toxicology (SFT) and Camilla Örnroth from Svenska Mässan for a very productive meeting and the insight that Gothenburg has so much to offer besides Shrimp Rolls 😉.

#eurotox2024 is in #Copenhagen's air! With 2024 being enthroned on calendar titles for a good two months now, it was time for #EUROTOX to officially start its congress year with the annual Executive Committee #Winter Meeting. Traditionally, this meeting is held in the city of the upcoming congress, so the EC gathered in #Copenhagen and worked intensively. In between, they squeezed in time for food and drinks - a great opportunity to share a laughter and simply chat. The next time the EC gets together in person will be at #eurotox2024 - only 6 months to go. Sounds like the right timing to register and submit an abstract.😉

The festive season is just around the corner for many of us – the best time to get #EUROTOX2024 in #Copenhagen ready to go! We've been working intensively over the last few days to open #registration and #abstract submission for the congress just in time for you. Now it's up to you again to enrich the congress with your contributions! Good bye #Ljubljana! An amazing #EUROTOX2023 is behind us! We wish the more than 1,500 delegates, exhibitors, speakers and poster presenters a safe journey. We hope you enjoyed #EUROTOX2023 as much as we did. Finally, a quick look behind the scenes - because without our many supporters, #EUROTOX2023 would not have been such a good memory: ➡️ A big thank you to our more than 20 volunteers - you were an incredibly great team and it was a such pleasure to work with you. ➡️ Not to be underestimated is the work of our technicians, who gave everything so that even the speakers who were stuck at the airport and unfortunately had to turn back could give their presentation. ➡️ Our catering team from Jezersek Catering did an outstanding job - we know that many a person have been sitting in the sessions looking forward to the delicious break food. ➡️ The team at GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre around Anja Mijatovic - we now know the answer to all questions, it is: "No problem, we'll get it done. ➡️ And last but not least our PCO K.I.T. Group GmbH Dresden that made sure that the #toxicology #community will remember these four sunny days for a long time. Farewell, Ljubljana - it was our pleasure! See you again next year in Copenhagen for #EUROTOX2024.

The sun is shining in #Ljubljana and so are our smiling #EUROTOX2023 delegates. What an eventful day we had yesterday! The presentation of the EUROTOX Lecture Award by Bruno Mégarbane from the Hôpital Lariboisière in Paris and the exciting EUROTOX - SOT Debate between Robert Barouki (EUROTOX) and Robert Wright (SOT) are definitely worth mentioning. But also apart from the keynotes, delegates are highly engaged in the #EUROTOX2023 programme wherever we look: personal networking at the exhibition booths, lively discussions in the sessions rooms as well as the speciality section meetings and of course, happy chit-chat amongst themselves. We do not mind continuing like this. 😉☺️

What a great start of #EUROTOX2023! We saw more than 1,000 delegates at the registration desk (and wait for the remaining 500 today), we saw colleagues and friends enjoying the Slovenian sun during the breaks, 6 very well attended Continuing Education Courses, an atmospheric and dynamic opening ceremony with the Slovenian ethno chanson band "Zajtrk", the keynote lecture by Gregor Majdic, who explored the question of how #toxicology and love are connected and finally the traditional welcome reception in the biggest exhibition and poster area EUROTOX congress has ever seen. So many reasons to look forward to the second day of the congress! Welcome to #Ljubljana everyone!
