Like many large corporates Bosch, a German multinational engineering and technology company, is interested in putting #AI into production to make its factories more competitive. Through the DeepTechAlliance Advanced Manufacturing program, Bosch’s plant in Maklar, Hungary connected with IPercept, a Swedish startup that serves as a kind of fitness tracker for industrial machines, leveraging AI to track mechanical movements to do root cause analysis and predictive maintenance. A pilot project was launched ,and based on its success, the Maklar factory is now looking at how to apply the technology to other production lines, says Gábriel Gudra, the factory’s innovation manager. Advanced Manufacturing Program 2024 was kicked-off in Munich with a splendid event hosted by UnternehmerTUM!🤩 We gathered an amazing mix of 20 corporates, 20 startups and scaleups, along with 13 entrepreneurship hubs from over 15 European countries, all working to push the limits of advanced manufacturing👏 The agenda was packed with ecosystem discovery, startup pitches, networking, and an impressive 72 business exploration meetings standing as testaments to how ideas are turning into tech validation and industrial innovation!
