Stop by the Danish pavilion to get an update from the Danish quantum ecosystem from Danish Quantum Community, Invest in Denmark, NKT Photonics, Deep Tech Lab - Quantum and Quantum Foundry Copenhagen! This year’s theme is “Scaling quantum computers towards real-world applications” with several Danish speakers sharing how Danish quantum companies utilize the potentials of quantum technology and contribute to a Danish quantum stronghold ⚛️ Great to gather with our Nordic partners and experience the excitement for Nordic quantum collaboration. Thank you to InstituteQ, Business Finland, VTT, Aalto University and Bluefors for organizing a great get-together for the Nordic quantum stakeholders!

📢 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗗𝗤𝗖 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 📢 Today, we hosted Danish Quantum Community's annual General Assembly in the innovation hub of Digital Hub Denmark. Thank you to everyone who showed up to the GA – and thank you to every DQC partner for your immense support to our community and your incredible work in pushing the quantum agenda in Denmark. At the GA, seven persons were elected to the DQC Board of Directors: - Jørgen Ellegaard Andersen from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark (re-election) - Lydia Baril from DTU - Technical University of Denmark - Michael Kjær from DFM - Danmarks Nationale Metrologiinstitut - Natasha Friis Saxberg from IT-Branchen (re-election) - Nikolaj Juncher Wædegaard from Dansk Erhverv - Nikolaj Thomas Zinner from Aarhus Universitet (re-election) - Ulrich Hoff from Kvantify (re-election) Congratulations to the newly elected members of the Board! The remaining five seats in the Board of Directors were not up for election, and the following persons will remain in the DQC Board for 2024-2025: - Andreas Espersen from DI - Dansk Industri - Bent Dalager from KPMG Denmark - Cathal J. Mahon from Deep Tech Lab - Quantum - Jan B Lillelund from IBM - Jan Westenkær Thomsen from Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen Jan Westenkær Thomsen and Natasha Friis Saxberg were re-appointed as DQC Chairperson and Vicechairperson, and Jørgen Ellegaard Andersen was re-appointed as DQC Cashier. 𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐀 𝐖𝐑𝐀𝐏 – 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔! 30 exhibitors, 18 speakers and 500 guests! 🤯 Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting Denmark’s Quantum Industry Day 2024 – a national showcase of Denmark’s growing quantum industry. A day full of inspiring conversation, excellent speakers from the entire quantum ecosystem, Denmark’s largest quantum exhibition to date, and much more. A massive thank you to everyone who showed up to learn more about the Danish way of quantum! It is amazing to see the support to the quantum agenda from the quantum ecosystem and the broader business community in Denmark. DTU Skylab was full of Danish quantum companies showcasing their quantum products and services and sharing their knowledge. Thank you to the 30 companies who joined us and who are constantly working to strengthen Denmark’s quantum industry. It was great to see all the new connections being made in the exhibition! 🚀 Thank you also to our many speakers for joining us on stage: - Danish Minister of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs Morten Bødskov opened the event alongside the DQC Chairmanship Jan Westenkær Thomsen and Natasha Friis Saxberg and DTU Provost Rasmus Larsen. - Peder Lundquist from Danmarks Eksport- og Investeringsfond (EIFO), Astrid Katrine Kyhl from TDC NET & Hans Henrik H. Knudsen from Kvantify gave their insights on the business potentials of quantum technology. - Deep Tech Lab - Quantum hosted the final pitch session for cohort 1 of the NATO DIANA program. Thank you Jens Nielsen, Adrian Dan and Jakob Svagin and congratulations to the companies on your final pitch. - To round it all off, Mark Nicholas Jones from Molecular Quantum Solutions, Jonatan Kutchinsky from Quantum Machines & Kurt Stokbro from Sparrow Quantum shared their experience of founding quantum companies, undoubtedly inspiring the next generation of quantum entrepreneurs!
