Corporate Matters, Copenhagen at the annual Folkemødet on the Baltic Sea island of Bornholm serving clients and engaging with political and business stakeholders. For those not familiar with the concept, Folkemødet stands for "The People's Meeting," a yearly, three day, event aimed at fostering democratic dialogue and civic engagement among politicians, organizations, and citizens. It serves as a platform for open discussions on societal issues, promoting transparency and public participation in the democratic process. Hanne Fast Nielsen, Ole Mikkelsen and Christian Lemvigh

Danish 'summer weather': 14 degrees and rather windy, but fine weather for the asphalt work on the first 500 meters of highway on land at Falster. TV2 ØST stopped by and had a chat with Anders Kofod from the local company MSE Entreprise A/S and NCC about how to asphalt in 2024. The New Storstrøm Bridge will be 4 km and therefore Denmark’s third longest bridge after the Storebæltsbroen and Øresundsbron. Vejdirektoratet is the client and SBJV I/S controlled by Itinera is the main contractor on the project. The bridge will open to road traffic in 2025 and to train traffic in 2027.

"Danske Bank, Denmark's largest bank, is on the offensive and all other Danish banks should keep a close eye on what their next move is". This is the message from my banking expert colleague in Corporate Matters, Copenhagen, Ole Mikkelsen, in his column in FinansWatch. https://lnkd.in/gQB_rxpC

Thank you Ana Maria Gardiner and Lighthouse PR for hosting the Crisis Communications Network Europe (CCNE) annual meeting in wonderful #Bucharest. Great to meet colleagues across the whole of Europe and again welcome to our newest member from #Ukraine, Sergii Bidenko
We were so honoured at Lighthouse PR to have hosted the annual meeting of Crisis Communications Network Europe (CCNE) where #crisiscommunication and #crisis management experts from 11 European countries have joined forces to discuss challenges, opportunities, similarities and differences in and between our practices. Crisis case studies, #media and #socialmedia landscapes in our countries, stakeholder categories that we deal with in case of crises; strategies, tactics and toolkits we use before, during and after crises and, last but not least, crisis simulations and Zombie games 😊 – all of this was discussed, debated and enjoyed in Bucharest this week. Be aware though - as crisis experts, we are not just focused and strategic, we are also lots of fun – check the pics if you don’t believe me! 😊 To many more reunions of CCNE colleagues, trusted partners and friends! Thank you, all, so much and see you soon! Sergii Bidenko, Anna Twardowska, Agata Zeman, Christian Lemvigh, Frank Schroedter, Daniel Metten, Stijn Pieters, Robbert Meulemeester, Julien Draillard Losada, Maria Luisa Moreo, Silvia M. C. Exciting day for the whole crew at the New Storstrøm Bridge. The regional radio station DR - Danmarks Radio P4 Sjælland did their four-hour - 06-10 o'clock - morning show from the construction site with more than 10 interviews, but also had time to take some magnificent pictures. Thank you, the DR - Danmarks Radio crew. We will be looking forward to seeing you again. The New Storstrøm Bridge will be 4 km and therefore Denmark’s third longest bridge after the Storebæltsbroen and Øresundsbron. Vejdirektoratet is the client and SBJV I/S controlled by ITINERA S.p.A. is the main contractor on the project. https://lnkd.in/dskUvsdK

Great turnout to the Forsikring & Pension and Tænketanken EUROPA "2024 Investment Summit" at Nationalmuseet in Copenhagen. Danish pensioners have a combined fortune approaching 2 x Danish BNP - which is the highest level in the world. This is attracting the interest of... well, everyone from ranging from politicians, interest groups and national and international asset managers.

Another milestone reached at the New Storstrøm Bridge. TV2 ØST was at the site when the final bridge pillar was installed 9 May. The pillar is one of two temporary pillars that will support the bridge girders while the 100 meter tall pylon is being completed. When the cables are installed the two temporary bridge pillars which are made of steel will be removed and make way for the two sailing channels on each side of the pylon. Great job everyone. The New Storstrøm Bridge will be 4 km and therefore Denmark’s third longest bridge after the Storebæltsbroen and Øresundsbron. Vejdirektoratet is the client and SBJV I/S controlled by Itinera is the main contractor on the project. (Link to TV2 ØST story in comments)
