The Seed chair is EU Ecolabel certified 🌿 We are proud to announce that our Seed chair, designed by Hans Thyge & Co., has earned the EU Ecolabel. Crafted from 85% recycled plastic, Seed meets rigorous environmental standards, including criteria for health, safety, social, and ethical considerations. We now have 14 timeless chairs in our collection awarded with the EU Ecolabel – documenting their premium quality and adherence to strict environmental requirements, with the aim of reducing the overall impact from production and consumption. Included are all versions of our Seed chairs in 85% recycled polypropylene, the Seed garden chairs, and the beautifully crafted Swing chairs with seat in oak veneer. Blast Studio is a sustainability-focused and award-winning design and maker studio based in London, who collects discarded coffee cups in West London’s cafés and transform them locally into statement objects and furniture pieces ♻️ "We started Blast Studio in 2018 with the aim to explore how nature and technology can be put in dialogue in order to transform cities’ discarded material into artefact and architecture. In nature nothing goes to waste, the scraps of an organism become the resource of another one. This circularity is at the heart of our work: cities’ waste is our resource to create the interiors of tomorrow."
