9 years ago... On the 28th of June 2015 AGROINTELLI was founded. Together with a fantastic team of colleagues from Kongskilde and the support of the former Kongskilde owner DLG Group Agro Intelligence ApS was founded as a spin out of the strategic development work with e.g. the Kongskilde Vibro Crop #ROBOTTI, that had been ongoing the last 4 years. A work that had the scope of developing the next generation automated intelligence farming machinery. Agrointelli was established on the same vision as still drives the company today: To make global food production more reliable, sustainable and profitable. With a mission that has also keept is relevance: To offer a generic fully automated farming system for arable farming on the global market Thanks to the business engles Svend Mousten, Anders Geert Jensen and Peter Bager it was possible to establish and run Agrointelli, with essential support from e.g. Innovation Fund Denmark and GUDP - Grønt Udviklings- & Demonstrationsprogram until the Nordic Alpha Partners and Export and Investment Fund of Denmark joined as investor in 2020. A heartfelt thank you to all the colleagues who have been part of and with us on this fantastic journey. Both as employeed with Agrointelli and partners from universities. It has been a previligue to work with so many skilled and dedicated people during the last 9 years. XAG, Skippy Scout, Robotti & AgXeed all working together. This is the first and possibly the only time you’ll ever see these robots in one field at the same time… Huntapac Produce Limited, the UK’s leading root vegetable grower, is running an innovative project to see how the carbon output from typical field of parsnips can be reduced by using lightweight, autonomous robots. First up was an AgXeed AgBot, supplied by Autonomous Agri Solutions in collaboration with AS Communications Ltd (William Mumford) . This autonomous, self propelled robot has the power to prepare the soil and create the beds: Subsoiling, Ploughing and Bed tilling It was followed by the Robotti AGROINTELLI autonomous robot, also from Autonomous Agri Solutions, to precision plant the parsnip seeds: Drilling (Seeding), Pre-emergence spraying, Band spraying, Inter-row Hoeing, Granular fertiliser placement. Then the robots took flight and in came a big XAG P100 Pro spray drone and a Skippy Scout. Robert Pearson from Auto spray systems supplied the XAG P100 Pro that would manage whole field spray operations at the later growth stages while regular flight by Skippy Scout would keep the Huntapac agronomists informed of progress, supplied by the team at Drone Ag Limited. Throughout the growth cycle, the robots and drones will manage the crops health. This ground breaking project was only made possible through funding from Marks and Spencer.
