As the Disability:IN LATAM Lead Consultant, Margarita will work with the Global Workplace Initiatives team to expand Disability:IN’s inclusive programs and impact in region.
Originally from Colombia and now Brazilian by heart, seamlessly blended their roots with Sao Paulo in 2018. Boasting a robust background in marketing and communication strategies, go-to-market (GTM), events management and scaled comms with in- depth knowledge of the nuances across Latin American markets .  Her career spans over 12 years working at a diverse range of industries such as big consumer brands, NGO’s and Big Tech companies, with a skilled in deepening a subject and quickly become the subject matter expert and driving ideas forward with passion. She is a catalyst for positive change and her true passion lies in leveraging her expertise to impact lives.
Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, Margarita takes advantage of her knowledge as a tool to connect on personal, academic, and professional levels in the LATAM region. Her international exposure, including speaking engagements and media interviews in all three languages, reflects a commitment to global communication. In her professional journey she went from curiosity about what companies can do around equity to become a Diversity & Inclusion Ambassador and having worked at Google for 5 years gave her the opportunity to lead internal initiatives around DEI.

She describes herself as an avid runner because that is simply what makes her connect on a deep level and stay active.
