Joanne (Jo) Watson is a leader with 10 years of corporate experience in designing and implementing world-class diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs on a global scale. Most recently she was Intel’s Director of Global Inclusion where she defined and led the strategy to increase the percentage of employees worldwide with a disability to 10% of the workforce. With a track record of influence at all levels, integrating DEI into key talent practices and thereby driving accountability for results, she is skilled in creating and delivering globally relevant solutions to enable leaders, managers, and employees to integrate inclusion into their day to day lives.
Based in the UK, she is deeply familiar with balancing DEI on a global scale with local context. A firm believer that ‘one size fits no-one’, Jo is the proud parent of two young women, one of whom has significant complex needs associated with Autism and Epilepsy. This informs her passionate, empathetic, and collaborative approach to making work better for everyone.
