Consistent with Penn State’s mission as a land-grant institution, Penn State Dickinson Law intends to operate as one law school with two locations in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania: Carlisle and University Park. Through our two locations, Penn State Dickinson Law provides unparalleled access to an affordable legal education and public service to support the citizens of the Commonwealth and beyond. Penn State Dickinson Law’s historic home and primary location in Carlisle allows students easy access to the state capitol and provides a charming backdrop for your studies. Penn State Dickinson Law also has an additional location in University Park, enabling law students to study at Penn State’s largest campus.

Penn State Dickinson Law and Penn State Law are reunifying to operate as Penn State University’s single law school. While ABA approval for the reunification is pending, both schools are currently fully accredited. We submitted an application for acquiescence to operate as a single law school in July 2024 and plan to enroll a unified class in Fall 2025.
