Crunkle's Gamble

Using only assets created in the first four rounds.

You need some leverage to break free form your debt to Crunkle, so you decide to sneak into his office to get something.

Game Info:

The game loop consists of three rounds: collecting coins, Monty Hall, and gambling. Though I tried to give some gambles in the collecting portion of the game as well.

Side scrolling controls (reused from the third round):

The gambling games use space, enter, or a or b to start it going and to stop a column or row.

Other controls are displayed on the screen.

There is a side scrolling level, a knife throwing level, a sewer run level, and a minigame level.

Slots:

This game has several icons, you need to match three in the middle by timing your presses. Crunkle is a wild card icon.

Roulette:

Roulette only takes the icon that it lands on, graves are worth $0.

Match:

In the Match game, you have to line up three rows of the same image to win.

In all the gambling games, the icon of the mother and daughter hugging is the highest value. The Graves are the lowest values.

Monty Hall spoiler below:

The Monty Hall Problem is something that doesn't make sense until you really think about it or run the numbers, but it's always better to switch after a choice is eliminated. Your first choice a 1/3 chance of being right, but switching to the other option is a 2/3 chance.

The way it works is a little deceptive. Your first choice is 1 out of 3 of being correct, or 33% chance. That gives the other two doors a combined chance of having the door as a 67% chance. When one of the other two doors is removed, the rule that must be followed, is that it cannot remove the correct door, so it's not always random which door is removed. That means the remained door not chosen, retains it's 67% chance of being the correct door. So it's always better odds to switch. Still, if you stay, that's still a 1 in 3 chance of being correct, so there's a decent chance that you will succeed without switching or fail with switching.
