I feel like if she was in Gen 4, she would be handled in like 1 episode.
She got lucky the trees /just/ so happened to interlink.. and form a portal that would allow her to warp in and lucky the spell didnt have “Opaline will not touch these lands forever” thing since she appearently /never/ could actually go to the ponies and like scare them lol.
Also friggin Hitch and Izzy managed to stop her abit, I bet they could of finished her at the end of season 4 if Sunny know how to take away cutiemarks or like, reverse the dragonstone to steal h e r fire literally.

She’s one of those villains where while you might not agree with her actions or motives, you can’t disagree with her style.
