Kicking off the new fiscal year with an impactful event around #sfs4good! 🌳 SFS colleagues in Siemens Bank joined the NPARKS board at Springleaf Nature Park for a local tree planting day as part of the #OneMillionTrees movement. This initiative is a nationwide effort to plant a million trees across Singapore over 10 years. Remarkably, in just four years, we've already surpassed the halfway mark. 🎉 Before the tree planting session, we discussed the numerous benefits of trees, including: ✅ Purifying air by absorbing carbon dioxide and pollutants ✅ Keeping our living environment cooler ✅ Providing habitats and shelter for wildlife, especially endangered bird species ✅ Slowing down floodwaters ✅ Helping us cope with the challenges of urban living Planting the trees was such a reward, knowing they will grow into something much bigger over time! A heartfelt thank you to all our colleagues at Siemens Financial Services in Singapore who took time out of their busy schedules to join us in this initiative. Your dedication helps us build a city in nature for future generations to enjoy. Special thanks to the organizing board, NParks for making this event possible!
