Interesting insight: Getting #recognition and having #flexibility replaced #salary as the top expectations among executives looking for a new job opportunity. We're bringing German football stadiums into top technical shape for UEFA EURO 2024™! #DeutscheTelekom has significantly expanded the #mobile network in all 10 arenas to handle the increased data volumes from spectators. A total of around 750 new 5G antennas have been installed across the stadiums: 🏟️ 300 antennas are powering the stands for fans. 📡 450 antennas are enhancing the indoor areas, including the catacombs and media zones. We're also boosting our network around the stadiums to provide fans with the best mobile phone connections. This includes 38 temporary coverage areas in fan zones, railway stations, and team quarters. Additionally, we've installed approximately 65 kilometers of #fiberoptic cable to transmit live match images globally. Each stadium is connected to the UEFA International Broadcasting Centre (IBC) in Leipzig with two redundant fiber optic lines, ensuring uninterrupted and high-quality broadcasts. From the IBC, signals are sent out worldwide as television images, with the connections routed completely separately to guarantee reliability.
