We are delighted to have completed almost 1,000 new apartments in the second and third quarters of 2024, which we have already placed on the European housing market. These modern apartments in Berlin, Nijmegen, Aix-en-Provence, Leipzig, Nürnberg, Ehningen and Cylonpoort are helping to address the growing demand for housing in urban areas. Laut der Forschergruppe Euroconstruct, der auch das deutsche ifo Institut angehört, werden die Wohnungsfertigstellungen in der EU bis 2026 im Vergleich zu 2023 um 13 % zurückgehen. Für Deutschland ist sogar ein Rückgang von 35 % zu erwarten. Steigende Baukosten und schwierige Finanzierungsbedingungen bremsen den Mietwohnungsbau massiv aus. Doch es gibt Hoffnung – trotz der Herausforderungen bleiben mittelständische Entwickler aktiv und institutionelle Anleger erkennen den langfristigen Wert von Mietwohnungsinvestitionen.
