Internationalen Symposium on ADVANCES IN ROBOT KINEMATICS (ARK2024) in Ljubljana, Slowenien, vom 30. Juni bis 4. Juli 2024 teilgenommen hat. Herr Clar hat dort sein innovatives Paper vorgestellt: “Actuated In-Operation-Reconfiguration of a Cable-Driven Parallel Robot with a Gradient Descent Approximation Technique”. 🔧 In seinem Paper erläuterte Johannes Clar eine innovative Rekonfigurationsstrategie für die Seilroboter in Echtzeit. 👏👏👏 We would like to extend our congratulations to Jasper Vermeulen, our PhD researcher from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), who successfully completed his confirmation of candidature last week. 👏👏👏 Jasper's PhD research, titled "Human Factors in Collaborative Robotics" is under the supervision of Glenda Caldwell, Müge Belek Fialho Teixeira, Alan Burden from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) with external supervisor, Matthias Guertler from University of Technology Sydney. The review panel was chaired by Professor Tim Schork, and included Professor greg hearn and Professor Will Browne. When humans and collaborative robots start working together in close proximity on the same tasks, issues of human factors can arise. This project, conducted with Stryker and B&R Enclosures, explores which human factors are relevant in improving human-robot interactions to ultimately support the adoption of Cobotic applications. This project employs a socio-technical systems approach to gain an understanding of how human workers and cobots jointly shape their collaboration. At the end of 2023, the research project RoMaFo (DE: “Roboterassistenzsystem und maschinelles Sehen zur Montage von formlabilen Bauteilen bei kundenindividuellen Produkten, EN: “Robot assistance system and machine vision for the assembly of form-flexible components in customer-specific products”) was successfully completed. Various issues were investigated in the context of robot-based assembly of cables and electrical connectors. These included the picking of disorderly supplied cables (see Video 1) and the automated design of gripper systems for electrical connectors and their sensitive joining (see Video 2).
