#Mähkonzept #Artenvielfalt *** ☘ Are you still mowing? There might be another way. 🐑 🐏 The sheep are back, supporting our tried and tested mowing concept. The greenery around our institute is growing and thriving. The sheep will gradually move into and graze all these areas. Why did we choose sheep for mowing? Grazing promotes biodiversity! In particular, livestock grazing regulates competition between species: the sheep eat tall grasses down to the ground, creating light and space for low-growing and less competitive flowering plants. 🌼🌱 🍀 🐏 🌷 You can treat your eyes to a break on a little detour to our institute. 🐏 🐑 The sheep will stay with us all summer until they leave for the winter accommodation. #Sustainability #Biodiversity
