🌿 Today at the Sustainable Business Roundtable at ESMT Berlin, we united business leaders, academics, regulators, and startups to propel sustainable transformation through impactful sustainability reporting. ✨ The event featured an exceptional lineup of sessions and speakers, engaging 120 participants from diverse organizations on critical reporting topics. 🎤 Per Olsson inaugurated the event, setting the stage for in-depth discussions on political and regulatory frameworks. Carol Adams, Tom Dodd, and Sue Lloyd shared insights on the pragmatism of reporting standards and global alignment, moderated by Olga Almqvist (she/her). 🌱 Jörg Eigendorf presented expert strategies for managing net zero. 📈 David Klein, Steffen Müller 🌱, and Adam Pradela led an engaging session on effective sustainability reporting. They discussed their journey towards corporate sustainability and its alignment with effective reporting for success, moderated by myself. 📝 We followed with a comprehensive exploration of CSRD readiness, stakeholder reporting, and investor perspectives in breakout sessions with contributions from Maximilian Müller, Daniel-S. Roth, Laura Marie Edinger-Schons, Merih Sevilir, and Volker Weber. 🔍 Hendrik Fink and Nadine-Lan Hönighaus conducted interactive discussions on auditing and supporting sustainability. They examined the opportunities and challenges of auditing sustainability reporting, moderated by Claire Dugan. 🌍 Natasha Santos led forward-looking discussions on future trends in sustainability reporting, discussing a more definitive standard for reporting on biodiversity, moderated by Jörg Rocholl. 💡 Atlas Metrics, Briink, Code Gaia, Daato, IntegrityNext, leonardo., neoverv, score4more, Sunhat, and VERSO GmbH showcased innovative sustainability reporting solutions.
