Numerical Investigation of Roughened Solar Air Heater for the Enhancement of Thermohydraulic Performance Parameter
–
The project involves the enhancement of thermohydraulic performance of solar air heater having different artificial roughness on absorber plate.
CFD analysis is been carried for various artificially roughened ribs present on absorber plate of solar air heater using commercially available software, FLUENT v14.1 and openFOAM v5.0
Validation of the results obtained is done by comparing with experimental data and various correlations.
