  • EarLiMet - Early Stage Metal Recovery for Energy and Resource Efficient Recycling of Li-Ion Batteries

    The aim of our work is to investigate and optimize the hydro- and pyrometallurgical processes for Lithium, Nickel, Cobalt and Manganese recovery and the generation of slags for use as construction material. An economic evaluation of the studied routes compared to primary raw material production will be considered and the processes should be up-scaled and directly transferable to the industries and battery research factory.
