Successful Electronics Recycling Collection Event! 🌍♻️ Our colleagues from the thyssenkrupp Uhde USA Houston office successfully hosted an Electronics Recycling Collection Event. All our employees were able to bring in their old electronic equipment that was no longer needed. Hundreds of pounds of electronics were collected, including old TVs, computers, laptops, printers, radios, etc. Thanks to the incredible participation of our employees, we were able to recycle many electronic items and reduce e-waste. #thyssenkrupp #Uhde #USA #Recycle
International Plastic Bag Free Day 🌍✔️ This global initiative aims to eliminate the worldwide use of plastic bags. Plastic bags may seem like a grocery shopping convenience, but they are also a huge strain on the environment. Over 10 million tons of plastic ending up in our seas each year.🌊 At thyssenkrupp Uhde we have a sustainable solution. Our colleagues from thyssenkrupp Uhde Inventa-Fischer are developing innovative PLA bioplastics. The feedstock for the PLAneo® process is lactic acid. PLA can be used to substitute a wide range of materials such as PET, PP and PS, helping to conserve fossil resources and reduce CO2 emissions.
