New Member Alert: Balluff Joins the TwinStore Community! 🎉 We're happy to announce that Balluff EMEA is now officially part of our growing TwinStore community. As many of you already know, together we showcased the new 4D-model of their RFID reader, created in a joint project earlier this year at Hannover Messe. To generate the 4D-model, we first created a behavior block in ISG-virtuos and then linked it to the existing CAD data of the RFID sensor. The 4D-model can now be easily intergrated into existing #simulation models and guarantees true-to-original behaviour on the fieldbus and realistic visualization. The Perfect Match - How Our 4D-Models Can Keep Up with Every Move! ♟️ 🚀 At last year's automatica, Afag showcased this impressive chess #robot, also beautifully demonstrating the real-time capability of their prebuilt 4D-models from the TwinStore. The setup featured a real chess robot built from Afag components and a 1:1 digital twin running simultaneously and perfectly in sync in the background. Every move made by the real system was precisely mirrored by the digital twin connected directly via a HIL #simulation on the real fieldbus. The digital twin of the chess robot is the result of a successfull joint project with ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik GmbH, CADENAS GmbH, and Afag | Emerson Discrete Automation. Utilizing already available 3D-CAD models from the CADENAS 3Dfindit catalogue, 4D-models were created. These 4D models then formed the basis for creating the #digitaltwin. With the help of the ISG-virtuos simulation software, the digital twin was finally set in motion.
