𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐂𝐂 2024 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐩💥 ✈️ Our members are back from the incredible week during EthCC. We have visited more than 30 side events, attended more than 60 talks, and participated in the ETHGlobal Brussels hackathon. Brussels was overflowed with crypto enthusiasts and creators, transforming the city into a hub of blockchain discussions and networking opportunities. We had a lot of great meetings, conversations, and potential collaborations. 💻 Five of our members also participated in the ETHGlobal Brussels hackathon. Our project is called Splitwiser, a group expenses tracker with a built-in payment system. With Splitwiser, we won a prize for Best Use of Blockscout Block Explorer. 🍷 Toulouse Tasting Recap🍷 On the 23. of June our society had the chance to taste wonderful new sorts of wines from the Toulouse region 🍇 in a collaboration with TUM Blockchain Club! Our wine session first started with a presentation of Aaron Nagler on "How to taste wine" for both Society of Sommelier and TUM Blockchain Club members. We were delighted to taste: * Riesling vom Schiefer, 2022 * Nebbiolo D'alba Rivere, 2016 Thank you Weinimport Milanko for this amazing opportunity! After we were able to enjoy a presentation by TUM Blockchain Club, who gave us a fascinating glance into both the world of blockchain and their student club 🚀🔥 ! In the second part of the main event we got insights into the French winery via a Zoom session with a winemaker from Toulouse 🍷. During these interesting elaborations we tasted such wines as: * Domaine Saint Louis - Vin Blanc Chardonnay, 2022 * CHÂTEAU Saint Louis - Espirit, 2018 * CHÂTEAU Saint Louis - Tradition Rouge, 2020 * Domain Saint Louis - Vin Rosé We are very grateful to Chateau Saint Louis for such delicious wines!
