TT-Line relies on shore power - another step towards more sustainability From this autumn, four ships in our fleet will be equipped with a modern shore power supply! This important initiative will enable our ships to connect to the local power grid while at berth, significantly reducing emissions and noise pollution in the harbours. Switching to shore power has many advantages. The environmental impact is significantly reduced by minimising the exhaust fumes and fuel consumption of our ships. In addition, the reduction in noise pollution contributes to a quieter and more pleasant atmosphere in the harbour areas, which is beneficial for both local residents and port employees. This proactive step underlines our ambition to not only minimise our carbon footprint, but also to lead the way in our sector. Intermodal transport solutions – Linking train & ferry 🚆 🚢 TT-Line's direct ferry services connect the strongest intermodal ports in the southern Baltic Sea and are perfectly integrated into the continental European and Scandinavian network. TT-Line thus combines the strengths of sea, rail and road transport to create attractive intermodal axes between the most important hubs in Norway, Sweden, Germany, Italy and Spain with growing frequency and continuous expansion of the portfolio. All connections are optimally integrated into the ferry service's efficient timetable, ensuring that cargo reaches its destination quickly, safely, cost-effectively and in an environmentally friendly manner. The combination of train and ferry and the perfectly synchronized timetables enables efficient transport with short transit times.
